I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a BA in Textiles Fashion and Fiber specialising in Knitwear for Menswear. My final collection Corporate Rebellion was influenced by distressed fabrics, traditional collars and conceptual thinking. The client profile was based on an urban bohemian gentleman dressing for work, reinventing the suit. I explored construction and became interested in the process of making garments in unusual ways. This includes side-wards knitting and seamless construction.

Shortly after graduating I was a finalist at the UKHKA awards 2011 and winner of the Erika Knight student award. Since then I have worked as a freelance knitwear designer adapting from menswear to women’s accessories for the craft market. I have learnt to cope with tight and changing deadlines. I have been self motivated and managed while also being creative and well organised. I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and the entire design process.

Work includes published designer at Knit NOW. Designer for British Craft Designer Erika Knight. Designing making and calculating unique bespoke commissions. Most recently knitter and gang member at Wool and the Gang.
